内容摘要：One of the central problems in Riemann-Finsler geometry is the classification of the spaces with positive sectional or flag curvature. In the Riemannian case the study is rather fruitful, and a complete classification of homogeneous Riemannian manifolds with positive sectional curvature has been achieved. In recent years, we have made a systematic study on homogeneous Finsler spaces with positive flag curvature. In this talk, we will give a survey of the main results on this topic.
报告人简介: 邓少强，南开大学数学学院教授、博士生导师。主要从事李群与微分几何的研究，已经在 Advances in Mathematics, Crelle's Journal, Trans. AMS等杂志上发表90多篇研究论文，独立撰写的专著《Homogeneous Finsler Spaces》2012年由Springer出版社纽约分社出版。已主持7项国家自然科学基金项目和2项教育部博士点基金项目。2003年入选教育部优秀青年教师资助计划，2004年入选新世纪优秀人才支持计划，2007年获宝钢全国优秀教师奖，2014年获全国高校自然科学二等奖（第一完成人），2015年获天津市教学名师奖，2016年获得天津市五一劳动奖章。他是2013-2017年度和2018-2022年度教育部数学专业教学指导委员会委员。
